On-line
All of our computers have internet access. Our computers are available
for academic purposes only. You can conduct internet research, check
your email, access your Atlas account, search the library card catalog,
and access the library databases.
Tipsheets
The CSSC offers a selection of free tipsheets that are available
on a self-serve basis and are located in a magazine rack. Tipsheet topics include: MLA and APA documentation, grammar,
punctuation, study skills, reading, and writing. Help yourself!
Worksheets
The CSSC has free worksheets available upon request. Our worksheets
cover a variety of reading and English skills including: identifying
the main idea and supporting details, using transitions effectively,
distinguishing fact and opinion, drawing conclusions, making inferences,
using figurative language, recognizing patterns of organization,
correcting run-on sentences and fragments, making subjects and verbs
agree, and much, much more.
