Chris
Borglum
Chris earned a Bachelor's and Master's
degree specializing in Literary Theory at the
University of Florida. His areas of specialty
include Freshman Composition, Surveys in Literature
and Honors Composition courses. Professor Borglum
has been coaching Valencia's Championship Brain
Bowl team for the past seven years.

Stacey DiLiberto
Stacey is the Coordinator of the Communications Student Support Center and an instructor of English at VCC. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in French and Italian from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in English from Montclair State University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Texts and Technology at UCF. Her areas of specialty include International Literature, New Media, Cultural Studies, and Translation. She has previously worked in publishing and corporate communications and as a writing consultant and instructor at Montclair State University.

Michelle Hair
Michelle graduated from Valencia Community College with her Honors AA in English and is now pursuing her Bachelor's degree in English at Rollins College. She has worked as a Supplementary Learning Leader and as a tutor for a couple of semesters at VCC. She enjoys reading and writing. Michelle aspires to be a Contemporary Literature professor one day.

Jason Balserait
Jason graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. After graduation, he enrolled in the Education Preparation Institute at Valencia Community College where he completed an internship at Timber Creek High School. Jason is currently teaching College Prep Writing at Valencia Community College, and he is working on his Masters in Liberal Studies at Rollins College.

Amanda Hoaglen
Amanda earned her Masters of Liberal Studies and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Humanities at Rollins College’s Hamilton Holt School. Amanda has a long history at Valencia. She completed her Associate in Arts degree at the East Campus and worked in the Administrative Office at the Winter Park Campus since 2001. She now teaches 20th Century Humanities at Valencia’s East Campus. Her areas of specialty include feminist philosophy and art history. Amanda’s career goals include working as a full-time humanities professor and publishing portions of her thesis in a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal.
