Selection Criteria

Applicants must submit documentation of current certification in one of the following: 

• Radiography(ARRT)
• Radiation Therapy (ARRT)
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT) or (NMTCB)
• Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARRT or ARDMS)

or be registry eligible in one of the above modalities

Submit proof of current CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider), current PPD, and immunization records for MMR, HBV (3), and tetanus.

Applicants for Valencia Community College Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program must be free of offenses that would disqualify them from a student clinical experience in a health care setting and must have their civil rights intact.  This policy is in response to requirements by clinical agencies and State/Federal regulations

THE MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTATION MUST BE SUBMITTED BY JULY 1ST TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION TO THE FALL SESSION CLASSES.
