About Us
Polly Keller, MBA, RRT, RCIS
Program Chair
I joined Valencia in 1995. My clinical background started in 1986 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. I became an educator in 1989 when I was offered an adjunct teaching position from my alma mater Youngstown State University (Ohio).
I was fortunate to gain my critical care experience at Ohio State University Hospital which is a large teaching hospital, trauma center, and transplant center. I cross trained into cardiology which is similar to the manner in which the majority of people gravitate to the Cath Lab.
As a firm believer in life long learning, I have earned a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science from YSU, an MBA from Rollins College, and hold credentials as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist and as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. When I was offered the opportunity to develop the VCC CVT program I welcomed the chance to be even more involved in the medical education profession. I am now the program’s director and greatly enjoy bringing students into this exciting career.
I am married. My husband is an electrical / mechanical engineer specializing in lasers. We enjoy our home, discussing science, road bicycling, cooking, entertaining, and I enjoy Yoga. We have 3 cats and my husband has 2 children and one grandson.

I used to think you had to be a Billionaire to be the richest man in the world. I really felt stupid when I figured out all I had to do was have 3 amazing children and 1 very patient wife. I am now the richest man in the world, even if I don’t have a Billion dollars. I do have a 6 year old son named Cole, he’s my golden child. I also have a 3 year old son named Noah; he acts just like his Dad. Finally, I have a 5 month old daughter named Piper, she is my princess. Last but definitely not least my amazing wife Monique, my soul mate. Thank you God for letting me marry up!! Everything I do I do for them; they are my strength, my heart and my life. |
