Dr. Hedayat attained
a Bachelor in Science in Electrical Engineering from the
University of Central Florida, a Master in Science in Electrical
Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, and
a Doctorat degree in Higher Education Leadership from Nova
Southeastern University. Nasser started his academic career
as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida
and Valencia Community College where he received his tenure
as Electronics Engineering Technology faculty. Nasser served
as the Program Chair for the Engineering, Computer Engineering
Technology (Networking), and Electronics Engineering Technology
programs and is currently serving as the Acting Dean for
the Architecture, Engineering, and Technology department
on the West Campus of Valencia Community College. Nasser
has developed extensive relationships with local industry
and has helped to setup customized programs with Bright
House Networks, Northrop Grumman Laser Systems, and Walt
Disney World.
Nasser Hedayat
has received several performance and achievement awards
including Industrial Education Award from Orange County
Vocational Association and NISOD Excellence Award from the
University of Texas .
