Professional Profile
Sharyn is one of the members of the Career Program Advisors Leadership Team. Housed at the West Campus off Kirkman Road, Sharyn is college wide to assist students at all campus sites. As a "specialized" Academic Advisor to the A.S. degree and certificate programs, Sharyn offers advising of courses for degree curriculum completion. Each school term, education information and update workshops are held in each of the A.S. Degree areas. With Sharyn's assistance, you can create your career and educational plan, as you identify classes for the coming school term. There's no need to take unnecessary classes that do not pertain to your A.S. Degree . Simply confer with your advisor at least once a school term or as often as needed for confirmation of any concerns you may have.

Before joining the Valencia family, Sharyn has provided academic advising to students at the University of Central Florida and the University of Kentucky. She has managed, planned and implemented vocational training through the One Stop Career Program. Sharyn has assisted individuals to design career paths that have been rewardingly successful in securing high wage career employment. Sharyn graduated from the University of Cincinnati.
