Macromedia Flash Installation
Installing the Player on Windows 2000, Windows XP Home
Edition, or Windows XP Professional

You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the
Administrators group to install Macromedia Flash
on computers running Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, or
Windows XP Professional. For more information about user accounts
and groups, see Windows Help.

Macromedia Flash is not supported on Netscape Navigator 4.x
and earlier
To download and install Windows Media
Technologies using Microsoft Internet Explorer
- On the download
page, click Install Now button.
- When the Security Warning window appears, click Yes to
continue installing.
- When you see the Macromedia Flash Player logo and text, the
installation was successful.
- Your computer may require a reboot after auto-installation
of the Flash Player ActiveX control, if the Flash Player is
already in use during the installation process.
To download and install Windows Media Player using Netscape
Navigator
- On the download
page, click the Download Now button. A
dialog box will appear asking you where to save the Installer.
- Save the Installer to your desktop and wait for it to download
completely.
- An Installer icon will appear on your desktop. Double-click
on it. Install Flash Player
- Read and click through the dialog boxes.
- When the Install button appears, click it to install Macromedia
Flash Player into your browser's plug-ins folder.
- Your web browser will launch a new window. When you see
the Macromedia Flash Player 6 logo and text, the
installation was successful.
