Purpose

The Career Staff Council has been established for all full-time and part-time career staff employees. This Council gives you a chance to voice your opinions on any issues or concerns you may have (positive or negative) to improve your working environment. Please note that we do not connect names to any issues. The issues are then taken to the campus Provost for action. Collegewide implications are taken to the Executive Council for action.

PUSH FOR PENCILS

The month of September marks "A Gift for Teaching" school supply drive, named "A Push for Pencils". This is Valencia's third campaign and is a way for us to assist students in need by furnishing school supplies to the Gift for Teaching Stores in Orange and Osceola Counties.

Last year, Valencia came in third in the area for donations. (donating $14,563 of school supplies to students in need).

Again we have placed donation boxes in convenient locations:
