Winter Park Campus Provost

Welcome Back!

Welcome back. Spring is a time of expectation and growth. The trees begin to bud a bright green, flowers start growing, and students start again fresh with new opportunities and challenges. Some of you will graduate this term; others may be at the start of their educational career. Wherever you are in your educational journey, the faculty and staff at the Winter Park Campus are here to assist you in achieving your goals. I urge each of you to set reasonable goals for yourself for the spring term. Maybe this term you are determined to be more focused on your course work. Or you might want to explore our LifeMap tools and other programs that link students to all the components of Valencia , such as our faculty, staff, course offerings, technology, and programs and services. You may resolve to devote more time to studying, or you may strive to become more social and get to know some of your classmates, join a club, or become involved in student government. Whatever your goals, we have the people and technology to help you along the way.

Many of our staff volunteer to be success coaches to assist and support you. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it. Ask anyone here on campus where to direct you if you want help, or feel free to come and see me. We are a community dedicated to you, our students. Best wishes for a successful and productive spring term.
