Marketing & Media Relations provides consulting, copywriting, design of print and web, photography and media relations services. Printing of MMR design projects are facilitated by the Outsourcing Office. To request a MMR service, submit the Marketing and Media Request for Services.

All projects are quoted by a selection of qualified vendors. The lowest bid will be sent to you for confirmation. Print and mail projects are billed directly to your Oracle account. Nothing is printed until your confirmation is received and the funds are available in the proper GL.

Quantity and complexity dictates the decision. For any project requiring offset printing, full-color printing and long print runs, the OS office should be considered. This office has contracted the production of a variety of jobs; simple carbonless forms to the LifeMap banners that hang on the various buildings on our campuses. Word processing will refer you to this office when they feel it is appropriate to do so.

Yes. In many instances, our vendors are providing this service inhouse, and at a very favorable rate. Often the printing cost will be discounted when the vendor is doing the mail handling. We have done direct mail addressing and drops for our Finance and Marketing Departments and for the Foundation. The cost of professional handling is offset by the considerable postage savings Valencia realizes when a project is professionally sorted, bar coded and addressed.

Always consider having your direct mail processed by professionals. Mailing services can include addressing a run of 200 post cards to the printing and mailing of the IRS1099 forms for the institution.
