Subject: Teach-In 2005

Valencia Community College has been invited once again to participate in Teach-In, a project sponsored by the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools. Teach-In is planned for Wednesday, November 16, 2005, and provides an opportunity for community members to volunteer as little as one hour or as much as an entire day of their time to teach in a classroom. This is a great opportunity for our institution to partner with the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools in support of their students. Last year, 120 Valencia faculty and staff participated in Teach-In (a 100% increase over the previous year.) I would like to thank those individuals who were able to participate last year and invite all faculty and staff to consider participation this year.
