Office for Students with Disabilities
Services
Services are provided on a case-by-case basis
and are dependent upon the impact of the student's disability. The
individual is encouraged to disclose to the OSD and provide the
necessary documentation. While personal services and personal aides
cannot be provided, reasonable accommodations will be arranged to
assist a student with a disability based on a plan to be developed
by the student and the Office of Students with Disabilites. Such
services may include testing accommodations, alternate text formats,
and other reasonable classroom and learning strategies.
Services Include:
Students are encouraged to apply
for services at least four weeks prior to the start of classes.
The Office for Students with Disabilities cannot guarantee that
accommodations will be available on the first day of class for those
students who do not request services at least four weeks ahead,
however, students have the right to request services at any time
during the semester.
