Help with GroupWise and GoToMeeting

Adjusting these settings will allow you to schedule a meeting in GoToMeeting.

  • Assure GroupWise is configured as the default e-mail client:
  • Open Internet Explorer
    • From the Tools menu select Internet Options
    • Click on the Programs Tab
    • For the e-mail setting select GroupWise
    • Click apply
    • Click close
  • In order to use Go To Meeting efficiently you will need to assure your e-mail client is configured correctly. Valencia Community College currently uses Novell GroupWise for the e-mail and the default for Go To Meeting is Outlook. To configure this setting do the following:
  • Right mouse click on the Go To Meeting icon (flower in lower right hand corner of screen) and select Preferences
  • Under category (left side) select Integrations
    • At the top center under the GoToMeeting Integration header select
      • User GoToMeeting with my Default e-mail application
    • An optional setting is to show the GoToMeeting Toolbar in Microsoft Office (this is at your discretion)
  • Select OK at the bottom
