Alternative Delivery Standards Committee (ADSC)

ADSC Charter

The Alternative Delivery Standards Committee (ADSC) is an operational working committee responsible for overseeing the development of a college-wide vision and mission statement for alternative delivery and for the development of a draft policies & procedures document for alternative delivery. Upon completion of the work in established the guidelines, policies, and procedures for the Alternative Delivery Plan, this workgroup will coordinate the course approval process with deans and the Learning Leadership Team. In addition, this group will grant final course approval at the conclusion of the Peer Review Process.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

  1. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate initiatives within the group’s respective areas of responsibility;

  2. Recommend priorities for technology initiatives;

  3. Charter individual ad-hoc groups and committees as necessary to implement and investigate specific solutions;

  4. Create, recommend, promote, and communicate standards, policies, and procedures for the group’s respective areas of responsibility;

  5. Analyze needs and identify incomplete services or functionalities;

  6. Communicate with the group’s constituencies on group activities and recommendations; and

  7. Communicate with the group’s oversight council, advisory group, or operational committee on group activities and recommendations.

Membership

Membership is listed in the table below and is by area/position. In order for this group to be successful and effective, it is critical that each functional area be represented at each meeting. This means that if a primary representative cannot attend, it is that member’s responsibility to send an alternate to cover representation for their area. Other representatives are always welcome to attend these meetings to gather information and provide input. The membership listing below is intended to designate primary representatives and their areas of focus.
