HUM 1020 Introduction to Humanities & ENC 1101 Freshman Composition I. Professors Tammy Gitto and Alfred Taylor.
Our goal is to prepare students to analyze and effectively communicate primary aspects of art and culture as they relate to the humanities in terms of how they contribute to the development of traditions over time. This course will provide students with the skills necessary to meet the Gordon Rule requirement in future classes. Most importantly students will realize the importance of ethical research practices accurate documentation of sources throughout their academic careers. Upon completion of the course students will successfully produce a documented research paper which demonstrates a variety of key concepts in the humanites.
