AA Pre-Majors

Through the Associate in Arts Degree, Valencia offers preparation for nearly 200 majors in the State University System (SUS) of Florida. The Pre-Majors are not distinct majors in the traditional sense or areas of concentration. Rather, each Pre-Major is designed as an advisory guide for a student who plans to earn the Associate in Arts Degree from Valencia and transfer to one of the eleven state universities in Florida as a junior to complete a bachelor's degree in one of the specific university majors. Each Pre-Major includes the courses to satisfy Valencia's General Education requirements for the AA Degree and the Statewide Common Course Prerequisites for the specific university major (which count as the elective credits for the AA Degree).
