ATTENTION STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF
THE STUDY ABROAD OFFICE IS UNDER TRANSITION AND WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE FALL SEMESTER. PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE IN SPRING 2010.
Valencia offers students three options to study abroad:
Student Exchange Semester Programs: You can earn college credit at an institution in another country for a semester. Since Valencia does not offer courses in other countries, you would need to enroll in a program offered by another university/college. Refer to the list below.
Faculty-led Programs: If you prefer going with
a group, enroll in a Valencia course that has a faculty-led study
abroad component. These short term programs are held in the spring
and summer. Presently, your choices are limited to Biology and Holocaust
Studies.
Service-Learning Programs : Volunteer to work on
a specific project in a foreign country. You can click on "International
Service Learning" in the Navigation column to view the many options
available. Or choose a Valencia program. Presently, Valencia offers
a Service Learning opportunity to the Dominican Republic. Information
is below.
