Policy Statement:

The President of the College shall be the executive officer and corporate Secretary of the District Board of Trustees as well as the chief administrative officer of the College, and all the components of the institution and all aspects of its operation are responsible to the District Board of Trustees through the President. The President shall have all powers and duties granted by law and as delegated by the District Board of Trustees. The President shall advise and counsel the board of trustees and recommend board action; recommend and enforce rules of the board of trustees; perform duties and exercise responsibilities assigned by law, by rules of the State/Florida Board of Education, and by the board of trustees; and delegate authority necessary to insure that laws and rules are executed efficiently.
