Policy Statement:
These governance policies may be amended at any regular or special meeting of the District Board of Trustees by an affirmative vote of a majority of the members of the District Board of Trustees if the substance of the amendment has been filed in writing with the Secretary and a copy has been mailed to each member of the District Board of Trustees at least seven days prior to the meeting at which the amendment is to be voted upon. Any provision of these governance policies may be suspended, not contrary to law, at any regular or special meeting for that meeting only by the unanimous consent of all present, provided not less than eight members are present.
