IRS Form 1098T

The college is mailing IRS Form 1098T, to all applicable students. Colleges and universities are required to supply the IRS with the pertinent information for taxpayers that are eligible to take higher education tax benefits. Valencia will report all eligible tuition and fee charges (not payments) that were posted to your account for the calendar year.

The college will not provide any tax advice regarding this information. If you do need assistance, please refer to IRS Form 8863 or IRS Publication 970. You can also reference the IRS web site at www.irs.gov.

These forms will be postmarked no later than January 31st. The Business Office will be able to provide duplicates as necessary for your records.
