Commercial Real Estate Women Scholarship (F516)
Applications are now being accepted for CREW Scholarships!
CREW Scholarship requirements are listed below:
- Submit a complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
- Full Time or Part Time Students may apply by July 15.
- Continuing Education, Certifications, and Credit Class students are eligible.
- Participation in accounting, architecture, business administration, construction, engineering, law, real estate, PACE Center, or Women in Transition are preferred but not required.
- Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
The Commercial Real Estate Women Scholarship may be renewable each semester and may be taken with a student to UCF with approved application. The American University Frederick Douglass Scholarship
The American University Frederick Douglass Scholarship provides partial tuition awards renewable for a total of two years of undergraduate study at American University. Frederick Douglass scholars are selected on the basis of high academic achievement, leadership potential, demonstrated community service and impressive co-curricular involvement. Priority consideration will be given to students who have completed a minimum of 45 credits by the application deadline, first generation students, students with high need and/or students from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Students need to be nominated by college professor, counselor, mentor or advisor. To be eligible applicants must meet these additional requirements:
- Must have completed Nomination Form found HERE.
- Have at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Submit admissions application and official transcripts by March 1 for Fall semester or November 1 for Spring semester.
- Be a U. S. Citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 1st.

The University of South Florida Transfer Scholarship List
The University of South Florida's Undergraduate Admissions office offers competitive, merit-based scholarships to new, upper level transfer students each year, as well as a limited number to lower level transfers with exceptional academic records. Selection for scholarships is based upon a transfer’s cumulative post-secondary GPA and residency classification. Some scholarships may have additional criteria.

The Annual Scholarship of the Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association.
The Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association wishes to recognize outstanding high school seniors who wish to attend Valencia Community College for two (2) years and then one (1) of the following State of Florida universities:
Florida A&M University, Florida Atlantic University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida International University, Florida State University, New College of Florida, University of Florida, University of Central Florida, University of North Florida, University of South Florida, or University of West Florida.
A four (4) year scholarship will be awarded to a 2009 Orange County high school graduate or GED recipient who is in need of financial assistance to further his/her educational pursuits.

Hispanic College Fund
The Hispanic College fund awards over 600 students. Students from all underrepresented groups ( women, minorities, persons with disabilities and individuals from rural and low income communities) encouraged to apply. Applicants must be a senior in high school, rising freshman or transfer student entering a 4-year bachelors degree program. Applicants must also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent resident. There are several different kinds of scholarship awards offered by the Hispanic College Fund.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund mission is to double the rate of Hispanic Americans earning college degrees. It was founded in 1975 and awards several kinds of scholarships in the United States. Applicants must either be a high school senior, an undergraduate or graduate student, or a community college transfer student. Applicants must also be of Hispanic heritage and apply for Federal Financial Aid funding using the FAFSA.

It has raised more than $3 billion dollars and helped 350,000 students attend and graduate from college. Valencia Foundation Scholarship

Steps for submitting a Valencia-Selected
Foundation Scholarship:
1. Please visit www.fafsa.ed.gov
to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
beginning January 01, 2008 for the 2008-2009 Aid
Year.
2. Complete the Valencia Foundation Scholarship application found HERE for 2008-2009 Summer term.
Along with your application please include your personal statement.
Submit all documents to the Answer Center on your campus.
3. If you are awarded a scholarship,
write a thank you note to the provider of the scholarship and submit
to Financial Aid Services. Your scholarship funds will be
released for your use only after the Thank You note is written.

and Engineering Technology Scholarship (F484)
The William (Bill) McKelvy Expressway Authority Engineering and
Engineering Technology Scholarship is currently seeking a student
enrolled in an engineering technology program or in pre-engineering
intending to transfer for an engineering baccalaureate

The Dr. David Wilson Memorial Scholarship is seeking applicants who are majoring
in Chemistry, Physics, or Physical Sciences. Applicants must

Viola and George McLoughlin Gift Annuity
(F657)
This award was created for non-traditional or disadvantaged students,
especially those who might not qualify for other programs.
Examples include but are not limited to: victims of domestic and/or
sexual abuse, recovering substance abusers, homeless, those undergoing
career change, single parents, victims of tragic circumstances,
juvenile offenders, and those seeking re-entry to the community
following incarceration. There is NO minimum
GPA requirement for this award.
This scholarship award amount varies but is renewable upon completion
of one successful semester at Valencia.

The Beck/KUA Scholarship is seeking an applicant who is the child
of a KUA employee with at least one year of full time employment.
Applicants must also meet these additional requirements:

The Universal Orlando Foundation College Scholarship is seeking an applicants who are graduating high school seniors from Dr. Phillips High School, Olympia High School, West Orange High School, Jones High School or Evans High School. Students eligible for the program must complete a Valencia Foundation scholarship application and be accepted to Valencia Community College. Applicants must also meet these additional requirements:
- Have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0 while attending Valencia.
- Must take classes with the goal of receiving their AA for Valencia Community College.
- Once receiving their AA degree from Valencia Community College, should the applicant enroll and be accepted to the UCF Rosen School of Hospitality the applicant will be eligible for additional two years of scholarship awards.
- A transcript must be submitted with the application for review.
