The needs of the workforce are a focus of the Banner Center for Health Sciences but also important are ideas for sustainability. To that end we are providing a distribution site for potential students.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF)

Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida awarded a $25 million gift to establish a Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship fund. With matching funds from the 2004 State Lesgislature, the $5 million endowment will provide scholarships for 200 students annually in perpetuity. The first distribution of the scholarship was awarded in spring 2006 to 265 students.

The ASRT Education and Research Foundation Scholarships

The ASRT Education and Research Foundation is pleased to offer an array of scholarships.  Their offerings include both Entry-level and Professional Programs.  Their site also links to a helpful tip sheet on applying for scholarships.
