I have been teaching Health and Fitness classes at Valencia Community College on the East Campus since 1997. I attended Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Business Administration. I also played on the women's basketball team and track team. Then I attended Central Michigan University where I received my Master's Degree in Exercise Science. I also attended the University of Central Florida and received my Doctorate in the field of Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to Valencia Community College I taught at Western New Mexico University, Salem-Teikyo University in West Virginia, and Alpena Community College in Michigan. I also coached Women's Basketball at the college level for 6 years.
