Dr. Labedz teaches both honors and standard
sections of American Govenment and International Politics.
His areas of special interest include: International Relations
Theory, Political Psychology, American Foreign Policy, U.S.-Latin
American Relations, and Diplomatic History. He is the academic
coordinator for Political Science within the Department
of Social Sciences and Physical Education on Valencia's
East Campus and serves as one of the college-wide internship
supervisors for Political Science. Prior to coming to Valencia
Community College in 1999, Dr. Labedz worked as a graduate
teaching fellow at the George Washington Univerity, where
he earned his doctorate in Political Science. A native of
Buffalo, New York, he enjoys playing tennis, golf, and basketball.
