Professor Regina Cassady has been at Valencia Community
College on the East Campus since 1993. She has served as
an Economics Professor teaching Micro and Macroeconomic
courses. She has served on various committees including
Distance Learning Advisory Group, Tenure Review, Dual Enrollment
Commission and Problem-Based Learning (Learning Outcomes).
She has taught in various learning environments including
traditional, dual enrollment, telecourses, hybrids, and
online. Professor Cassady was one of the pioneers in developing
online courses for the college. Professor Cassady holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, and a Master
of Applied Economics degree, both from the University of
Central Florida . She has begun her Doctorate of Education
degree in Curriculum and Instruction - Higher Education
Track from the University of Central Florida .
