Community Conversations: A Core Public Engagement Strategy

Like all community colleges, Valencia has some students who are struggling. In other words, we have some achievement gaps - and we want to do something about them.

On a regular basis we are inviting individuals and organizations who have an impact on our communities' future to join us to consider questions important to the future success of Valencia students. Our goal is to involve the broadest representation of community members from all areas we serve in Orange and Osceola Counties.

With your help, this can be a series of meaningful dialogues that can help shape Valencia Community College's educational plans during the months and years ahead.

These dialogues can raise awareness about community college activities and issues, open up new lines of communication between the college and community and spawn new ideas, initiatives and partnerships that will help more students succeed.
