Teaching Opportunities   

The Division of  Science is interested in expanding our pool of adjunct faculty members. During each major session the department employs numerous adjunct professors. Part-time teaching assignments are available in most subject matter areas.  Class coverage for day, evening and weekend courses is needed.

Principal academic areas include:

Astronomy
Biology
Chemistry
Geology
Oceanography
Environmental  Horticulture
Meteorology

Physics

Minimum qualifications for science courses are 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline + a master's degree or a master's degree with a major in the teaching discipline. All graduate work must be affiliated with a regionally accredited college or university.
