Career Program Advisor, Kathy Fedell

Kathy Fedell has become a familiar face to students in the
Criminal Justice Technology Program since she started in 1999. As
a Career Program Advisor, Ms. Fedell helps criminal justice students
with graduation requirements, course selections, program information,
and academic issues. Her position was created to assist AS students
in completing their degrees as quickly and as easily as possible.

Ms. Fedell is located in the Business and Public Services Office
in 8-105 on East Campus.
Personal Information about Kathy Fedell
Having earned a BA in English from Hood College in Frederick, MD, Ms.
Fedell went on to complete her MSM at Rollins College, Winter Park, FL.
Ms. Fedell spent seven years with Orange County Schools as an English Teacher
and Occupational Placement Specialist. She has also had extensive management
and business experience with retail, insurance and professional association
organizations. In addition, she worked for several years as a freelance
writer for technical publications and area magazines and newspapers. During
her early career, she served as Publicity Officer for St. Joseph College,
Emmitsburg, MD.
Ms. Fedell has been married for over 30 years to Robert, who is
an “award-winning” English teacher at Dr. Phillips High
School. They have a daughter, Amy, who recently graduated from UCF.
In her spare time, Ms. Fedell enjoys reading mystery novels, going
to the theater, and watching movies.
