Business Administration Adjunct
Teaching
The Business Administration Program is interested
in expanding its pool of adjunct faculty members. During each term the
program employs numerous adjunct professors. Part-time teaching assignments
are primarily available for Finance, Principles of Selling, Advertising,
all Human Resources Course, Management, Marketing, and General Business
Courses. Opportunities exist for day, evening and weekend courses as
needed.
Minimum qualifications for all Business Administration
courses (except HR and Real Estate courses) are 18 graduate semester
hours in the teaching discipline + a master's degree or a master's degree
with a major in the teaching discipline. Human Resources courses require
18 graduate hours specifically in HR. Real Estate courses, in addition
to the Masters Plus 18, require a valid Florida Realtor's Salesperson
License. All graduate work must be affiliated with a regionally accredited
college or university. Please review Valencia 's online Credentials Procedures
Manual for more detailed information on requirements for particular teaching
assignments.
Compensation for adjunct faculty members is currently
based on the following rates:

Adjunct faculty members are assigned mail boxes, department liaisons,
provided with staff parking permits, and access to our Faculty Resource
Centers.
