Scenarios-Succeeding in Online Group Work: This new course focuses on designing and facilitating group projects in the online environment. Thank you.

My family and I would like to thank our Valencia Family for all acts of kindness shown during the recent death of my sister. The beautiful flowers, cards, food and phone call were very much appreciated. It is a blessing to have a family like the Valencia Family.

Charles Killinger, Professor of History, West Campus, has published a chapter, "Fighting Fascism from the Valley: Italian Intellectuals in the United States" in The Dispossessed: An Anatomy of Exile (University of Massachusetts Press, 2005), edited by Smith College sociologist Peter I. Faculty-to-Faculty Seminars

The Office of Teaching Learning Support invites Valencia's adjunct faculty members to participate in a series of seminars offered on Classroom Topics and Technology for Learning plus a presentation at the Faculty Project Showcase Using Technology and applying ideas learned from the seminars.

This series addresses the highest ranked topics of interest drawn from surveys and focus groups of Valencia's adjunct faculty. (Thank you to over 200 adjuncts who responded!) The seminars will be in the form of round-table discussions and break out sessions facilitated by full-time and adjunct faculty.

NOTE: Upon completion of all three activities, and the submission of the final project electronically, the participant will receive a $300 stipend. Seating is limited to 75 per campus seminar. Each participant should register for all three activities on the same campus.
