Joel Zito Araujo, February 15, 2007, West Campus, 5-111, Reception: 7-7:30 p.m., Film and Q&A: 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend some time with notable Brazilian Film Director, Joel Zito Araujo. The New York Times noted about Joel Zito Araujo "Mr. Araújo has assembled a multigenerational cast of talented black actors to explore, among other things, the obstacles facing black performers in Brazil's film and television industries. Race may be the film's central theme, but this sexy, sometimes ungainly soap opera also looks at sexual mores, familiar relationships and the cultural differences between urban and rural Brazil . "
