The CLAST Registration Deadline for the October 4, 2008 administration is September 5, 2008.

Please register through the Assessment Office by September 5, 2008.

CLASP - College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST)

The College Level Academic Skills Program (CLASP) evaluates student skill level through the administering of the College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST).

Passing scores on the CLAST have been established by the State Board of Education as follows:

Essay - 6
ELS - 295
Reading - 295
Math - 295

You may take the CLAST test when you have completed a minimum of 18 credits including ENC 1101, ENC 1102, and at least one college level math course from the Area 3 listing, Associate in Arts Degree Requirements in the current college catalog.

You must have completed the courses with a grade of C or better. You should plan to take the test prior to the session in which you expect to graduate.

There are Alternatives to taking the CLAST - you may qualify!
