Program Description:
Dental Hygienists - the people who clean
teeth and take X-rays - are in high demand. As a dental hygienist
you work as part of the dental team and also see patients
independently. In addition to cleanings, hygienists administer
sedation, assist with root canals, apply fluoride and sealants,
and instruct patients on how to practice good oral hygiene.

examining teeth for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist
performing dental protective and preventative treatments related to oral hygiene
exposing and developing x-rays of teeth and gums
cleaning patient's teeth using scaling/polishing equipment
placing pit and fissure sealants
