Program Description:
Valencia's A.S. Degree program in Digital Media for Video & Motion Graphics
is one of the hottest emerging career fields today.
Combining classroom experience with real-world projects, this
interdisciplinary program is designed for students seeking careers in digital
video production, video editing and motion graphics creation.
Students in Valencia's Digital Media program create persuasive, informational, educational and entertainment-based video, audio and motion graphic content for use in multimedia, web, broadcast and live events. If you have an interest in becoming a production assistant, web video editor, motion graphics artist, videographer or multimedia speciaist, then Valencia's Digital Media program may be
just the career for you.
Typical Tasks may include:
presenting digital and interactive media projects to a live audience using a variety of digital media formats
capturing and manipulating video image and audio files
creating content for high bandwidth digital broadcasting
designing and developing interactive, digital media for DVD's, CD-ROM's, and/or the Internet
creating video projects for commercial and industrial use
creating static and motion graphics for video projects
