AAWCC Valencia Chapter

The American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) was organized in 1973 as an affiliate council of the American Association for Community Colleges. AAWCC is the leading national organization that champions women and maximizes their potential.

The Valencia Chapter of AAWCC was founded in 1988, and was the first AAWCC chapter in the state of Florida.

AAWCC is committed to equity and excellence in education and employment for women in community, junior, and technical colleges. The organization provides professional development, leadership training, networking, and workforce excellence opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. As part of this committment, the Valencia Chapter of AAWCC offers an annual scholarship to female Valencia students.

To Join the Valencia Chapter of AAWCC, please complete a membership application and send to Natalie Ferenc at mail code DTC-2 or fill out the contact us information and an application will be sent to you. Payroll deduction for your membership fee is available until October 1st. To use payroll deduction for your membership please use this membership application.
