The year ahead will be one of singular significance–the fortieth anniversary of the founding of Valencia Community College. The milestone will be marked in events throughout the year by remembering the struggles, accomplishments, and most importantly, the pioneers who brought this remarkable institution into existence and nurtured it into one of the country's great colleges.

We invite you to join us as we look back on the rich history of the first integrated community college in Central Florida. You are also invited to help select the 40 individuals whose contributions to Valencia have had special significance.
